About Casita Centro Space
Casita Centro is a ground-floor apartment with traditional colonial arches and Talavera tiles. One of the best features of this ground-floor apartment is the private patio, which is accessible from the kitchen and the bedroom and has a private washer and dryer exclusively for Casita Centro guests.
Living Room
The living room features a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a television with a DVD player, a collection of DVDs, Cable, and hi-speed WiFi.
Kitchen & Dining
This charming compact kitchen has a little bit of everything and features a four-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, and other small appliances. Dine al fresco! The kitchen opens onto the private patio. It also features hand-set tiles with an accent line for added traditional ambiance.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, Aztec-style custom tiles on the walls and counters, and a marble counter-set sink. Enjoy fantastic water pressure and hot water!
Bedroom
The main bedroom has a comfortable hand-painted queen-size bed and French doors to the private patio, a perfect space for enjoying your morning coffee.

This apartment is in a building in the historical downtown with two other apartments on the second floor. San Miguel was an essential stop on the silver transportation route to Mexico City and an important place in the fight for Mexican independence. This building dates back to the 1600s, as almost everything in the historic town of San Miguel. The exterior walls are about 18 inches thick. This was required for structural support. All the interiors have changed over the years, but the exterior remains the same. At one time, this was part of a large hacienda. Strict architectural controls in historical downtown disallow changes to the exteriors, including exterior paint colors; they must be like the original colors.

Kitchen: The Frida has a kitchenette with a microwave, two burner cooktop, minifridge, kitchen table, ample wardrobe, and other small appliances.
Ambiance: The Frida Studio is resplendent with custom handmade silver repose furniture. The decor is themed after the famous artist Frida Kahlo, and you will find high-quality replicas of her work throughout the unit.
Bathroom: One of the best features of the Frida studio is the large, bright bathroom with original vintage custom tiles and a large walk-in shower. The walk-in shower has a window to enjoy plenty of natural light. A bonus is the fantastic water pressure and hot water.

The apartment was fantastic. It was big enough for at least two people to stay with space to relax, work/eat, cook, sleep. The unit is located right in the center of town, so it was super easy to walk everywhere – great views, great food, great sight seeing. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Location! Location! Location! Just less than a 2-minute walk to Centro, where all the happenings are going on. This may bring a little noise during the weekend, which may be disturbing for people living in quite suburban US cities, but for urban people, it is not a problem at all. This cozy and beautifully decorated apartment is excellent for two people with all needed amenities in place coupled with the services of an excellent manager, Mr. Jose, who did everything to keep us happy!

Hospitality by Lynn and her staff was first-rate. The room was beautifully decorated, and amazingly quiet given the location. It’s close to everything , and for the 10 days we spent was an excellent home base.
This was a perfect stay in San Miguel de Allende. The location could not be better!! Less than a 1-minute walk to San Francisco Church and 3 minutes away from one-minute Jardin Allende. The space has a rustic charm, characteristic of the colonial city, and the rooftop space is a nice add-on. I particularly liked the bathroom with it’s colorful tiles and the nice hot shower. I would consider this place if I returned to SMDA, which I hope I will. Lynn was fast in reaching me during the check-in time arrangements. I honestly prefer contactless check-in process, but the communication to get in touch with the person responsible for welcoming me in was smooth. Internet service was good and reliable. In general, lovely stay!
I had a wonderful stay at Lynn’s place. Great location, very close to the main square. There was an Oxxo right down the street on the corner where you could get water, grab a coffee or a quick snack. It was nearby to main square, but far enough away to not hear all the noise from all the festivities. The internet in the apartment was super fast, and the shower was piping hot in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Nice little kitchen area, and rooftop patio with a gorgeous view of the cathedral. Jose the property manager was very quick to respond and very helpful. Overall a great experience. I will be back for sure.
This house is very nice and easy to find, the central location makes it extremely convenient for exploring San Miguel, and Lynn was a great host! Great amenities throughout, and the washer/dryer was super helpful! Would definitely stay here again if I was back in SMA!!
I just want to note that the shower was, without a doubt, the best shower that I’ve used in the several years that I’ve lived in Mexico. I’d stay here again just to take showers.

Minutes from everything and the views are fantastic from the cute rooftop. You are around the corner from all the main churches and amazing restaurants like Fatima 7.
We found the bed to be super comfortable and there are thoughtful touches like extra towels, a fully setup kitchenette, books, and the like. Wifi was quick! This place would be perfect for a longer stay with the cute table and outdoor space as well.

From our intial communication to checkout, the process was easy! Loved the location – super walkable area (we never had the need to take a taxi as all our activities were planned in the center of the city) – great restaurants – lots to see & do. This was our first visit to SMA and we felt comfortable and safe. Lynn’s space was a little refuge from our daily walks – not to mention the rooftop with breathtaking views of the city. The small touches, colors, decorations, and details were appreciated. We had everything we needed and look forward to coming back soon!
